Canon PIXMA MG2550S is an all-in-one inkjet printer that can handle printing, scanning, and copying tasks. Like all printers, it can encounter various issues over time, one of which is the Waste Ink Pad Counter error. This error can occur when the absorbent pads inside the printer, which collect the excess ink during printing and cleaning, become full. When this happens, the printer will produce one of the following error codes: error 5B00, error P07, blink 7 times, blink 8 times, near-complete ink absorber, error E08, or error E07 problem.

What Causes Waste Ink Pad Counter Errors?

As mentioned, the Waste Ink Pad Counter error occurs when the absorbent pads inside the printer become full. This can happen due to various reasons, including frequent use, using low-quality ink or ink cartridges, or not performing regular maintenance on the printer.
